# VividDub capability update: more complete video localization delivery

VividDub now supports more complex video localization needs, including multi-episode consistency improvements, hard-subtitle handling, richer delivery outputs, and stronger quality checks.

## What is new

VividDub is expanding the video localization experience from single-video dubbing to more complete delivery for complex projects. This update is especially useful when a customer needs to localize a series of videos, handle source videos with burned-in subtitles, or receive multiple output formats for publishing and review.

The goal is simple: make multilingual video delivery more predictable, more complete, and easier to use after the finished files are delivered.

## Multi-episode video localization

Many video projects are not single clips. Short dramas, online courses, training content, and episodic social content are often watched continuously across multiple episodes.

For multi-episode content such as short dramas, courses, and video series, VividDub improves consistency across character names, forms of address, and key terms. This helps reduce cases where the same character or term is translated differently from one episode to another, making the localized viewing experience feel more continuous.

This helps teams that need to localize a full content series rather than process one video at a time.

## Hard-subtitle video handling

Some source videos already contain burned-in subtitles. If those subtitles stay on the screen, the final localized video can look crowded or confusing.

VividDub can support hard-subtitle handling as part of the localization result: source subtitles can be removed when needed, then replaced with target-language subtitles and dubbed audio.

This is useful for videos originally produced for one language market and later adapted for a new audience.

## More complete delivery outputs

Different teams need different files after localization. Some only need a ready-to-publish dubbed video. Others also need subtitle files, audio files, or versions with and without burned-in subtitles.
